Best performance requires preamplifier to be mounted directly to the antenna's mast mounting.

Gain surpasses 18dB VHF 174-216MHz & 17dB UHF 470-700MHz. Lower VHF 55-88dB is NOT amplified.

Noise figure for VHF is lower than 1.8dB and less than 2.0dB in UHF band.

Ideal for UHF channels 14-69.NOTE; VHF performance may be less than desired.

Excellent VHF/UHF input signal dynamic range and overload protection allowing wide signal level variations.

Mast mounted, all-weather plastic shroud with zinc-diecast metal RF housing containing SCTE complaint "F" connectors. Housing is fined and designed to flush mount to the mast pole, allowing maximum IC amplifier heat transfer.

Designed to mate (bolts back to back) with Antennas Direct Clearstream antenna series.

Shipping dimensions: 10" long x 6" wide x 4" deep shipping weight is 3.0 pounds.

Description

The first in a series of commercial grade low noise antenna pre-amplifiers designed and optimized for digital TV Reception. Offering outstanding noise performance, modest gain & excellent resistance to overload, the CPA-19 is best in class in terms of overall balanced performance.

The CPA-19 preamplifier is designed to mount on the mast and behind Antennas Direct's Clearstream antenna series,i.e; C1, C2 & C4. This mounting allows maximium advantage to amplify the received HDTV signal BEFORE it is degraded or attenuated through the coaxial cable.

Please note; HDTV signals received "weak" because of distances transmitted WILL NOT be improved by this preamplifier. OTA Digital HDTV signals degrade differently than the older analogy TV tranmsssion methods.
