INPUT PORT SURGE - Pass 6kV 3kA combination wave @ 100khz ring wave surge test. As defined in IEEE C62.41.1991 for cat B3 type device.

DC Bypass circuitry allows powering, capacity to 18vdc @ 300mA, remote devices without saturation of ferrite core materials allowing digitally compliant operation when high RF levels are present.

Special magnetism resistant ferrite core material allows ferrites continued operation within designed specifications when high RF levels are applied.

Passing IR Infrared Remote frequencies up to 40khz. For remote access to devices via coaxial network.

NESC Compliant 4.55mm ground clamp, stainless steel wood mounting screws and UV protected labels.

Product Description:

The Model SPV-81GAP, CEI/Premisa 8-way equal loss vertical ported output RF splitter & provides an excellent RF signal path for analog and digital cable TV and off-air signals. While providing a bridge for HomePNA 3.0 networking technology to co-exisit on the same coaxial media with DOCSISTM compliant return signal path provisions for cable modem appications.

Device can allow allow the distribution of HomePNA technology throughout a dwelling utilizing the existing coaxial and communications media wiring. The device allows propagration of IR control signals useful in the remote access to media devices such as; VCRs, DVDs and DVRs. The device will distrubute to all ports DC powering energy, upto 18VDC @ 150mA. This application is useful when remotely powering security cameras.

Applications of this splitter range from remote security camera operation, multi-room cable TV programming distribution.

Product Standard Features

Design provides for co-existance of Cable TV programming using both digital and analogy format, plus cable modem on operation on the same coaxial cable.

Patent pending 360o insert pins.

Tin-plated, zinc die-cast housing with soldered back plate provides -130dB of RFI. All are
highly precision machined with SCTE compliant threading and are spaced on 1" centers.

All ports are water sealed and have be tested to withstand 30 psi of internal pressure. All ports comply to all existing SCTE standards.

Built-in NPO capacitors on all ports. All components are temperature hardened. Devices designed to remain stable in enviroments of -40 to +85o C and maintain all technical specifications.

OUTPUT PORTS SURGE - Pass 6kV 200A @ 100khz ring wave surge test. As defined in IEEE C62.41.1991 for cat A3 type device.
